Cleaning Tips
Follow These Steps to Preserve the Clean, Like-New Look of Your Tile and Grout
- Following your GroutLikeNew™ service, most surfaces such as floors, kitchen or bathroom walls, backsplashes and countertops are ready for use within 2-3 hours, but avoid heavy traffic, damp or wet mopping for 48 hours.
- Surfaces subject to heavy water exposure such as showers, baths, backspashes, etc. should not be used or exposed to water or moisture for 48 hours.
- To clean, start by thoroughly sweeping or vacuuming your tiled area. Then damp mop with plain warm water or for large spills and tough dirt, your usual cleaners. Then immediately dry the area with a clean, absorbent mop head or a terrycloth towel. Failing to dry surfaces immediately after damp mopping will cause loosened dirt and soil to remain on the tile surface after the cleaning liquid evaporates, leaving a dirty film on your grout and tile.
